This is a test. I need to presell 20 of these to justify the printing.
I have been really disheartened by the corruption and cruelty of our current administration and when our president announced he is going to destroy an entire civilization in April I about had an existential breakdown. I was on my way to a business meeting thinking how many Iranians who disagree with their current regime might also be on their way to a business meeting that morning... hoping that tomorrow their alarm will go off, their house, their families and their lives will still be intact.

So I am part of a show called Deck of Prompts. Each artist was given a phrase to illustrate however they see fit and each illustration is going to be published in a deck of playing cards/trading cards. My prompt was "his crooked visage" And I couldnt help but be inspired to make my only piece of political art to date.

We can only hope that the images and anxiety caused by this regime fade from our collective shoulders quickly... but its important to remember even the unpleasantries of history to minimize the likelihood of repetition. So if you like it and want to support me and the deck of prompts I will be sharing proceeds with their kickstarter as well as the DSA in hopes that we can get some representatives that actually reflect our values and goals for the future.

Disclaimer: if I get 20 presales between now and July 13th these will go to print. If I dont make the 20 presales these will be scrapped and a refund will be issued to anyone who did purchase. Also if they do make it to print the edition will be limited to the 20 presales and then a limited quantity that will be available here or at the Deck of Prompts launch party at the east Colfax Tattered Cover in Denver, CO on July 18th. This is also an introductory price so expect the final pricing outside of this pre order to be slightly higher.
